Delete Your Linker Account

Effective date: July 16, 2026

Linker is developed by Linker Studios. You can permanently delete your Linker account and its associated data from inside the app.

How To Delete Your Account

1. Open Linker and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Settings.
3. Select Delete Account in the Danger Zone.
4. Review the warning and confirm permanent deletion.
5. If prompted, sign in again and repeat the confirmation. Firebase requires a recent login before permanent deletion.

If you cannot access the app or your account, email connect@linkerstudios.com from the address associated with the account. Include only the account email and your deletion request; do not send PINs, emergency contact details, public response tokens, or precise locations.

Data Deleted

Permanent account deletion removes the Firebase account and account-scoped Linker data, including profile data, push tokens, safety and duress PIN credentials, check-ins, SOS alerts, Safety Timers, notification channel test records, owned Care Circles, and Care Circle membership references.

Temporary Retention

A token-hashed deletion receipt may be retained for up to seven days so Linker can verify an interrupted deletion request, after which it expires. Store transaction fingerprints and minimal lifecycle records may be retained where reasonably required for fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, refunds, or legal compliance. Completed, cancelled, and expired Safety Timer records are otherwise purged after 30 days, and temporary Safety Timer precise location is removed when its response link expires.

Delete Selected Data Without Deleting Your Account

You can remove or stop sharing selected information in Linker without deleting your account by editing emergency contacts, deleting or leaving Care Circles, disabling Care Circle location and battery sharing, removing Safe Zones, and changing notification or reminder settings.
